Want to full immerse yourself in the 1960’s lifestyle? The TWA Hotel is a must for this, from the minute you come within view of the historic terminal. From the decor, to the music, to the experiences, this was our most favorite hotel experience of all time.

Imagine stepping off the train or plane and heading to your hotel on a water taxi, then dropping your luggage off to head to St. Mark’s Square and sip on coffee at Florian Cafe. These are just some of the iconic things to do in Venice!

We were in Florence a week and we still don’t feel like we saw it all. It’s the birthplace of so much history and art, the epicenter for powerful families, and a place so well preserved in time that you don’t know whether you’ve time traveled. And… don’t get us started on the food scene and fashion houses galore!

Siena was one of those unexpected medieval Tuscan towns that is so well-preserved, you feel like a time traveler. It’d worth a day trip, so put it on your list!

Girona is one of those Medieval towns you see a lot in movies (or in this case, GoT) and you can’t believe it’s real. There wasn’t an alleyway we didn’t wander down and a stair we didn’t climb.

Hamburg is one of those cities worth seeing once. Once a heavily war-torn area is now shifting to a younger, vibrant feel with some great things to see and do. While you only need two days to see it all, make sure to put it on your list. Also, use it as a “base” location to take day trips to other parts of the country, such as Bremen and Lübeck.

The San Diego area is filled with so many experiences that you need a few weeks to properly do it all!

Michigan is teeming with so much to explore! Whether you want to immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of Detroit, or relax by the beach in Mackinac Island, there’s definitely something for everyone during every season!
