Enchantment Christmas At Nationals Park

I am one of those people that gets super excited when Freeform comes out with their “Official 25 Days of Christmas Movies” schedule. I also get super excited about pulling out my well-curated collection of Christmas ornaments and decorating the tree myself; holiday dinner parties, and anything else that puts me in the “holiday spirit”. It’s why when Enchant Christmas announced they were coming to Washington, D.C., I was all too happy to order the bundle and get my pre-order code… in June.

For those that have not heard of this experience before, Enchant Christmas chooses 2-3 locations (usually baseball stadiums) a year to set up a magical Christmas “village” full of millions of twinkling lights… for a few thousand people a night, for one month. It doesn’t come to the same location, consecutively, year after year, so it’s a real treat to snag a ticket and go.

THE PRE-EVENT EXPERIENCE

The appeal of getting a pre-order code for discounted tickets was high, knowing this experience was going to be in-demand, though in order to do so, you had to order their “Christmas Bundle”. Usually, I’d pass on such things, since most of these offers are a disappointment when they arrive, but after reading enough various online reviews, I decided to go ahead and order it, and I’m glad I did.

When it arrived, I was beyond impressed. An Enchant advent calendar with 15 days of chocolate, two hot chocolate stirs, an official Christmas ornament, an incredible-smelling candle, their story book for 2019, and a mini retrogram board (complete with interchangeable letters, numbers and symbols) were all included, all of which are things I have since used or will be.

The only downside in ordering it was that the demand was so high for these that shipment was three weeks late. I got mine one day before our ticket date.

THE MAGIC OF ENCHANT CHRISTMAS

Lights in every direction, tunnels, Instagram-worthy dead ends, step-triggered floor lighting, an ice skating path, light streamers, hot chocolate with Kahlua, carolers, a Christmas shopping village… all of this and so much more awaited us in the light-filled maze in Nationals Park and quite honestly, I could have spent far more than three hours there.

Enchant Christmas is open until December 29, 2019 for Seattle, St. Petersburg, FL and Washington, D.C.. Tickets are still available at all three locations - click here to choose your city and purchase. If you miss this year, check out their website around spring of 2020 for the new locations’ announcements It’s worth a trip, regardless if it’s a weekend away or in your own backyard!
